Seamless Airborne Relay
With the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller, the Matrice 4D Series can fly standalone or with an innovative onboard relay function. This setup allows one drone to fly as a relay, extending the operational range of another drone - even without a 4G signal or in obstructed conditions. This ability can be especially critical during search and rescue missions or inspections in mountainous areas.

The Matrice 4D Series drones are equipped with four high-resolution fisheye lenses, enhancing their low-light vision and obstacle detection. The new Night Scene mode enables full-color night vision, while the Matrice 4TD model includes an IR-Cut Filter for black-and-white night imaging and 24/7 operations. Additionally, its NIR auxiliary light extends visibility up to 100 meters. The Matrice 4TD’s infrared thermal camera supports UHR Infrared Image mode with resolutions up to 1280 × 1024, along with a High-Res mode for precise temperature analysis.

The Matrice 4D Series features medium tele and tele cameras with advanced stabilization. The medium tele camera is ideal for mid-range inspections, detecting fine details like pins and cracks from 10 meters away and reading substation instruments with clarity. The 48MP tele camera captures distant objects, such as signs, from up to 250 meters. On the Matrice 4TD, the tele camera can tilt 80° upwards, making it easier to inspect bridge undersides. Enhanced stabilization ensures sharp foreground details even at 10x zoom or higher.

The Matrice 4D Series drones are designed for high-precision mapping with advanced 5-direction oblique and 3-direction orthophoto photography, along with real-time terrain following for comprehensive mapping applications. The upgraded DJI FlightHub 2 enhances Matrice 4D/4TD operations by introducing multiple flight route planning options, such as Smart 3D Capture, geometric routes, and slope routes. These upgrades improve efficiency while ensuring accurate and detailed 3D modeling for various industries.

High-Performance DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD :
The all-new DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD drones feature IP55-rated dust and water resistance and an extended 54 minutes of forward-flight time and 47 minutes of hovering. Both drones are equipped with a wide-angle camera, a medium tele camera, a tele camera, and a Laser Range Finder. The Night Scene mode offers full-color night vision, and the 4TD offers additional IR-Cut Filter features for black-and-white night vision.
